A CD project has so many variables that you won't normally get prices actually listed on a web site. But we want you to know upfront what your project will cost. Before we get to the prices, we should warn you that our CDBooks™ are more expensive than typical Jewel box CDs. But bear in mind:
- They are beautiful and therefore have a better chance of selling.
- The per-CDBook™ price is the same whether you order 25 or 2000. So you don't need to buy a large quantity that might not sell.
- Because CDBooks™ don't crack, you don't need to ship them in expensive padded mailers. A manilla envelope is fine.
- You don't need to spend time and money fixing CD jewel boxes that crack before they are sold.
- Sometimes it does cost a little more to be environmental!
- Where the typical retail price of a CD is around $15, there still is plenty of profit to be made.
- CDBooks™ are made in the USA.
As you fill in the answers, the price will be calculated at the bottom of the page.

* - REPLICATING CDs: About replicated vs. duplicated CDs: Many CD companies offer runs of less than 500 CDs. But that is because they are "duplicated" CDs. Duplicating is what you can do with a blank CD-R in your personal computer (also called "burning a CD.") Duplicated CDs:
- have a short lifespan
- are easily scratched
- are ruined if left out in the sun.
- will not play in some older CD players.
The commercial audio CDs are almost always "replicated." Replicated CDs are more robust than duplicated CDs, and will play in all CD players. Another consideration is the printing. We feel that the "silk-screen" printing looks best. And that is the method used when replicating CDs. Because quality is one of the main concepts behind CDBooks™, it makes sense to offer only replicated CDs. It is fine if you want to provide us with duplicated CDs -- we will put them into your CDBook™. But we won't offer them.
However, this creates a math challenge with small runs of CDBooks™. Replicated CDs come in batches of 500 or more (fewer than that doesn't make financial sense.) Therefore, if you want fewer than 500 CDBooks™, please order at least 500 replicated CDs. We will send you the remainder to store for a later run. Five hundred CDs come in a 10"x10"x8' box, so storage should not be a problem.
